Probably just as well, those posts were not something I want to remember. I received my newsletter today, you will recieve yours soon. I have to take a leave of absence for awhile, time to go silent. We are in good hands and feel confident that this is a great opportunity. I want to personally aplogize to B, somehow my comments got blown out of proportion and did not convey the message I was trying to make. I am fully aware that without Bob there would be no Euclid. Should have read the LATEST posts from Tiny, BOS. Jimmy T and even GPA and Sunny....those from the past couple of days are missing when I access the blog.

Does anybody know what happened to the posts from Tiny, BOS and Jimmy T? Is it just me or have we lost some posts on the blog?

Does anybody really have an idea of when the bank will be selected and how long after the sale will it take for Euclid to go big as in the media or magaazines

What do you mean content providers will HAVE to pay for this caching. They will only pay if they want it and it will only have any effect on the world if lots of providers use it. You sound like those people back in the mid-nineties saying that no one should build any more towers because satellite based services were going to knock out all terestrial wireless. The issue of net neutrality is not whether or not you allow tiered service levels but whether pricing is based on raw bits or it is based on application. We have tiered pricing already: a DS3 costs more than a DS1, for example. What we want to avoid is a DS3 to a video streamer costing more than a DS3 to an e-mail provider. Why is that so hard to understand (not agree with, just understand)?

Where and when did EarthLink commit to city-wide free WiFi access? What EarthLink /did/ commit to is paying for network build-outs on its own dime, at no cost to the city or taxpayers. In certain municipalities, free access will be available in zones designated by the city and EarthLink. When is the last time your telco or cableco offered free access to you?
