Moore's Lore

The Great Shout-OutEmail This EntryPrint This Entry

What's unique about the Internet's hypertext structure is that anything can link to anything. You never know, when you hit a page like this, just who you're connecting with.

So, just for fun, I want to give a big shout-out here to some of the blogs that have recently put me on their blogroll, as detailed by Technorati.

Let's see who your friends are:

  • Doc Searls (photo from Technorati) is the biggest big-name blog currently blogrolling this blog. I'm very proud of that. Doc is a fine gentleman, a real pioneer, and always well worth reading. Here's one of his most recent headlines: Old advice never dies. As long as you can keep linking to it. Spin that around your mouth a few times. Tastes good, don't it?
  • The Slat Rat Chronicles, by Steph of San Francisco. She lives in Anchorage, Alaska, yet she does not seem cold at all. Her Mom wrote Stock Market Investing Made E-Z. Would that it were, Steph...
  • Over in Rome (the one in Italy, not the one here in Georgia USA) we have Luciano Giustini. His English is so much better than my Italian it's embarrassing.
  • Engagement Marketing, creators of SMLXL want to change the whole world of marketing, with code. Who can blame them? I wish I could offer them more help.

  • eCuaderno 2.0, por Jose Luis Orhuela over at the Universidad de Navarra, is apparently from Pamplona and bullish on Moore's Lore. (Photo from Infonomia.com.)
  • Matt Clements of Kitchener, Ontario, in Canada, writes Everything is in Flux and has us on his blog roll. Recently he watched The Last Casino, about a Canadian professor who teaches his students to win at blackjack by counting cards. If Matt disappears and reappears as host of a new reality TV series in which he gives away part of his huge fortune, well, you read it here first.
  • Colin Angel writes Bibendumblog and thinks we can help him. I hope we can, Colin.

  • Giuseppe Granieri does not seem to have Luciano Giustini on his blogroll, but maybe he should. If Italians enjoy the Kevin Bacon game, I put him two steps from Luciano maximum. (Photo from Technorati.)
  • Doug Kenline deserves a special prize for having me on his blogroll twice -- both here and at my free weekly newsletter, A-Clue.Com. Some people can't get enough of me.

Technorati has seven pages of such links, and while many are duplicates there's some interesting stuff there. The point is, to all you who read me or encourage others to do so, get to know one another -- you have something in common.

It's a small world after all.

Blog news from Everything Is In/Flux Well seeing as I'm not sure if this server will be online after the weekend, I should update on the status of this blog. September has been a fantastic month for traffic. I've had more than 3700 unique visitors, up from 300 in August. Most of ... [Read More]
